Dutch football great Ruud Gullit has claimed he rates Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti as the best manager of the modern era.

According to Gullit, Ancelotti is a better manager that the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson and Pep Guardiola.

For Gullit, Ancelotti is the ‘king of kings’, because of the number of Champions League trophies he has won.

Gullit told GamblingZone: “I think Ancelotti is a little bigger than Sir Alex and Pep because of the Champions Leagues he has won.

“He is top notch and is the king of European success. Both Pep and Sir Alex are part of history, but let’s look at what Ancelotti has achieved.

“He is the king of kings, better than anyone, and I am very proud of him.”
