It would have been an easy victory for Real Madrid, if Luka Modric had scored his penalty kick. The veteran midfielder missed from the spot in a lackadaisical manner, and Union would go on to score immediately after.

Earlier in the season, Rodrygo missed a penalty against Celta Vigo when Ancelotti wanted Modric to take it. Then Joselu also missed against Osasuna.

According to reports from Diario AS, Carlo Ancelotti is thinking of picking Jude Bellingham as the new penalty-taker at Real Madrid.

The technical crew are now resolving to trust Bellingham with the responsibility given his maturity and impressive form this season, the report claims.
