New Real Madrid star Arda Guler could make his debut for the club in Wednesday’s La Liga clash against Mallorca at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The 18-year-old Turkish sensation joined Real Madrid from Fenerbahce last summer for a sum of €20million but a series of setbacks has prevented him from making his debut.
According to media outlet Marca, the coaching staff at Real Madrid express confidence in Guler’s progress, noting his active participation in recent team training sessions.
It is expected that Guler will return to the squad for the game against Mallorca on January 3rd and could even have the opportunity to play his first minutes with Los Blancos, as long as no unforeseen setbacks occur tomorrow.
Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti and his coaching are keen to patiently integrate the youngster following his recovery from injury. The primary focus is on Guler’s complete recovery to prime fitness and his acclimatization to the Spanish football scene, with any potential loan discussions currently off the table.
