Real Madrid defeated Mallorca 1-0 at the Santiago Bernabeu.

After what seemed a struggle against Mallorca, a late goal from Antonio Rudiger sealed the win for Real Madrid.

Arda Guler was on the bench all through the game, and despite warming up in the second-half, he wasn’t brought on.

Carlo Ancelotti has hailed Guler as the present and future of Real Madrid, but he has asked for patience in his handling of the 18-year-old who is yet to make his Madrid debut due to injury.

“[Arda Guler] is fine and calm. He’s very happy to be back. He’s just 18, calm and relaxed. He’s our present and future,” Carlo Ancelotti told the media after the 1-0 win against Mallorca.

“We all have to be patient. Little by little. He will have his game time.”
