Carlo Ancelotti has hinted that goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga may drop to the bench for the Supercopa final on Sunday.

Kepa was in goal, as Real Madrid played out a 5-3 victory over Atletico Madrid, in the Supercopa semi-final clash in Riyadh on Wednesday night.

Kepa made a mess of things, as a mix-up with Antonio Rudiger led to Atletico’s third goal.

Real were on the verge of being knocked out of the competition before a late goal from Dani Carvajal salvaged the situation, and take the game to extra time.

Real will go on to score two goals in extra time to win the game 5-3.

Carlo Ancelott failed to criticise Kepa in public, but he hinted that Andriy Lunin may be in goal for the final.

“Kepa? His game was okay. He couldn’t do anything in the first 2 goals. We will choose who plays the final, Lunin or Kepa,” Ancelotti said.
