There has been a huge battle for the number one goalkeeper spot at Real Madrid, since the injury to Thibaut Courtois.

Andriy Lunin and Kepa Arrizabalaga are both vying for the position, with Carlo Ancelotti seeming to prefer Kepa.

However, Natasica Lunin, wife of Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin, caused a stir as she posted a picture with her husband on Instagram, and captioned it: ‘The undisputed number 1’.

This comes after Kepa’s shambolic performance in the Supercopa semi-final clash in Riyadh.

Lunin’s wife would later delete the post, but the message had already been passed.

 Kepa has conceded 16 goals in 17 games this season, whereas Lunin has only conceded 6 goals in 10 games.

Carlo Ancelotti failed to criticise Kepa in public, but he hinted that Andriy Lunin may be in goal for the final.

“Kepa? His game was okay. He couldn’t do anything in the first 2 goals. We will choose who plays the final, Lunin or Kepa,” Ancelotti said.
