Kepa Arrizzabalaga is wary of making a return to Chelsea, according to a report by The Sun.

The Spanish goalkeeper has been playing for Real Madrid since the start of the 2023-24 season, having joined the club on loan.

Kepa has impressed for Madrid on occasions, but lately, his performance levels appear to have dropped.

The 29-year-old was particularly poor during Madrid’s 5-3 Spanish Super Cup win over rivals Atletico Madrid, and sources claim he is worried about being sent back to Stamford Bridge.

The source is quoted as saying: “He has been very unlucky. He got injured while playing his best.

“He loves Madrid and really wants to stay. He will not give up.”

With Thibau Courtois coming back towards the end of the season, and Andriy Lunin proving to be a good deputy, Kepa may not really be needed at the Santiago Bernabeu.
