Real Madrid are in top form this season, and currently sit top of the La Liga table.

However, Barcelona haven’t been in the best of form, and have laboured to win games this season.

Nevertheless, Barca boss Xavi Hernandez has insisted he is calm about the team’s situation after the success of last season.

Xavi believes his side has what it takes to win the Super Cup.

“A trophy is at stake, I arrive in a much more comfortable position than last season – we have won, we’ve shown this is a winning project, I’m calmer,” said Xavi ahead of Sunday’s game.

“Madrid are always hungry (and) this is a strong Barça, we’re on a stage which is ideal, it gives me so much motivation and we will give everything.”
