Speaking ahead of the Supercopa final, Carlo Ancelotti heaped praises on Real Madrid left-back Ferland Mendy.

Ancelotti has claimed that the Frenchman is the best defensive fullback in the world.

“Ferland Mendy is the best defensive fullback in the world,” Carlo Ancelotti said in his press conference ahead of the El Clasico.

Mendy hasn’t had it easy with injuries, but is now back in the team injury-free, and is performing well for the Los Blancos.
