Dani Carvajal scored a stoppage time winner, as Real Madrid came from two goals down to beat Almeria.

The first-half showing from the team was horrible, but the team put in a massive effort in the second-half to go on and win the game.

Speaking after the game, match winner Dani Carvajal, hailed the fans for giving the team the belief to fight for the win in the second-half.

He said: “It was a very bad first half and, nowadays, if you waste a half it can be costly. The opposition got two goals against us, but from the break we went all out and thanks to our fans and everyone’s commitment we managed to get the win.

“I would have preferred to have won in a more comfortable manner, but this speaks of what this badge, this stadium and our history are all about: believing until the end. We said it at half-time, that anything could happen until the last minute.

“Thanks to all the fans, who drove us all the way through the second half. We dedicate the win to them.

“The ball fell to me in the middle of the pitch. I moved forward, I opened up for Brahim, I take the man and he put it in. I got there with everything I had, with the last bit of energy I had left, and I managed to put it in.”
