Real Madrid found themselves in a goalkeeping crisis at the start of the season, following Thibaut Courtois ACL injury, which ruled him out until the end of the season.
The Los Blancos would go on to sign Kepa Arrizabalaga on loan from Chelsea, to provide cover for Courtois.
Since then, Carlo Ancelotti has been unable to choose between his two available goalkeepers.
Kepa was favoured at one point over Andriy Lunin, but the on-loan goalkeeper has made a number of errors that have cost his team badly.
Kepa conceded twice against Almeria, and speaking to the press after the Almeria game, the Italian boss finally revealed that he won’t have a number one, but would rather rotate between the two goalkeepers until the end of the season.
Ancelotti said: “Rotating goalkeepers is not something bad. I did it when Iker Casillas and Diego Lopez were here. Together we won 2 titles and I hope that this season we will have similar success.”
Kepa has had 18 appearances this season, while Lunin has kept 12 times.
