According to a report on 90min, Liverpool have made an offer to sign Real Madrid centre-back Antonio Rudiger, who is open to a return to the Premier League.
Rudiger is interested in listening to Liverpool’s offer as he seeks a higher salary at Real Madrid.
This interest from Liverpool comes as Jurgen Klopp’s side look to bolster its defensive options, with the potential departure of Joel Matip as a free agent at the end of the season.
The German international is a proven quality center back, having won major titles in England and Spain.
Reports indicate that Liverpool have submitted an offer to sign him.
Rudiger, currently earning around €9 million a year (£148,000 a week) at Real Madrid, is using offers from other clubs, including Liverpool, to negotiate a better contract with Real Madrid.
