Carlo Ancelotti was full of praise for Aurelien Tchouameni, following his performance against Las Palmas.

The 25-year-old midfielder was solid all game, and went on to score the match winner for Madrid.

Ancelotti was full of praise for Tchouameni, not because he scored a goal, but for his defensive work.

“He played the game he usually does: strong at the back, cutting a lot of balls,” Carlo Ancelotti said. 

“On a defensive level, he helps us a lot, and in the header, once again, he has shown that we are very, very dangerous from set pieces because we have very good pitchers and finishers.”
