According to reports, Real Madrid are set to extend the contract of Dani Carvajal.

According to Marca, Carvajal’s contract will be extended until the summer of 2026.

The 32-year-old’s current deal expires in the summer of 2025, and the club intends to keep him beyond then.

At his age, Carvajal is still one of the best in his position in the world. He’s a strong figure in the dressing room and a key player for Carlo Ancelotti.

The Spaniard is enjoying yet another fine season. He has played 23 times for Real Madrid this season, netting four goals and assisting three more.

After 2026, Carvajal will  have his contract extended on a year by year basis, as is the case with Madrid players who are above the age of 31.

Carvajal is a product of Real Madrid’s Castilla. He has been at the club since the age of 10. He only spent a year outside Real Madrid (between 2012 and 2013), which he spent a season in Germany after Madrid sold him to Bayer Leverkusen for €5m. He was bought back for €6.5m, and he’s been an ever-present figure ever since.
