Carlo Ancelotti has explained an argument that happened between him and Vinicius Jr during the game against Getafe.

Ancelotti paired Vini and Joselu upfront, with Joselu going on to score a brace in the game.

Ancelotti has revealed Vinicius didn’t want to be taken off, which eventually led a brief argument between manager and player.

“I told him I was going to change him and he said no,” Carlo Ancelotti said of Vinicius Jr. after the Getafe game.

“But we have another game coming up.”

Vinicius was taken off in the 75th minute, with Rodrygo coming in as his replacement.
