Brazil are known for producing football greats, with Ronaldo de Lima and Ronaldinho among the greatest of the past generation.

Brazilian legend, Cafu, has backed Endrick to be the Selecao’s biggest star in the coming decade.

“He can become our greatest hope, our greatest star, the greatest idol of the last ten years,” Cafu said about Endrick. 

“We did not have idols in practically any club, nor such unanimous figures in the National Team as is the case with Endrick, although he’s still a kid.”

Endrick has signed from Palmeiras, and will join the Los Blancos when he turns 18.
