Real Madrid defender Antonio Rudiger has picked up a fresh injury, just after returning from an injury.
Real Madrid have released a statement, thus: “After the tests carried out today, Rudiger has been diagnosed with a muscle injury in the vast side of his left thigh. Pending evolution.”
The German will be out for two weeks, according to reporter, Arancha Rodriguez.
This will see him miss the first leg of the Champions League last 16 against RB Leipzig.
Real Madrid will be without a natural centre-back for the game against Girona, as Nacho has now been ruled out for Real Madrid’s game against Girona on Saturday.
The Los Blancos captain has been suffering from muscle overload since the game against Getafe.
