Real Madrid got a hard-fought 1-0 victory away from home against RB Leipzig on Tuesday night.

Brahim Diaz’s goal in the 48th minute was enough to secure the win.

However, one man who really put on a show for the Los Blancos was Andriy Lunin, as he set a record in the process.

Lunin kept a clean sheet in the game, as he made several top saves to help Madrid get the victory.

The Ukrainian goalkeeper made an impressive nine saves against Leipzig, matching Thibaut Courtois’ record.

Courtois had pulled off exactly nine saves in the Champions League final against Liverpool back in 2022, and was awarded the Man of the Match after the game.

Lunin has proven to be a worthy first choice goalkeeper in the absence of Thibaut Courtois, and is now ahead of Kepa Arrizabalaga in the pecking order.
