Former Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho, has given a hint as to why Jude Bellingham celebrates the way he does.
Jude Bellingham usually celebrates with his arms wide open, and Jose Mourinho has said it’s a sign of confidence and not pride.
“When Bellingham scores and opens his arms to the Bernabeu, it shows character. It’s not arrogance, it’s just ‘here I am. I did it again,” Jose Mourinho explained in a chat with Rio Ferdinand.
Mourinho also praised Bellingham for his mentality since moving abroad, as he moved from England to Germany at a very young age before joining Real Madrid.
“I believe there is something that separates him from the boys that were born in England, developed in England & are playing in England,” Mourinho said.
“He can add something different, he is a kid of the world. He has a big, big personality.”
Bellingham has already scored 20 goals for Real Madrid this season in just 29 games, and is the leading scorer in the La Liga.
