Real Madrid played out a 2-2 draw with Valencia away at the Estadio de Mestalla.

Valencia raced to a 2-0 lead in the first half, before Vinicius Jr scored a brace to level the scores.

However, Real Madrid could have gotten a winner, but referee Jesus Gil Manzano blew his whistle right when Brahim Diaz was sending a cross into the box that eventually led to Jude Bellingham scoring against Valencia, but the goal didn’t stand.

Bellingham was sent off at full time, and will now miss the La Liga clash against Celta Vigo.

Carlo Ancelotti has said he wasn’t happy with what happened.

“What can I say… there is not much to say. Something unprecedented has happened,” Carlo Ancelotti told the media after the 2-2 draw against Valencia.

“We’re not happy with Jude’s red card. He just told the referee: ‘It’s a f**king goal’. He didn’t insult Gil Manzano.

“The players are angry. We all have to calm down. We have an important game on Wednesday [against RB Leipzig],” Ancelotti also said.
