Former Barcelona player Dani Olmo has sent a message of warning to Real Madrid, ahead of their Champions League clash on Wednesday night.

Real Madrid play host to RB Leipzig in the second leg Champions League round of 16 clash.

Real Madrid won 1-0 in a difficult tie in Germany, and the Leipzig star believes they can cause an upset at the Santiago Bernabeu.

He said: “We are going to go with the mentality that we can eliminate Real Madrid from the Champions League.

“I watch all of Madrid’s games. It’s complicated, at the Bernabeu and in the Champions League last 16… the Champions League nights there are very big, and there is no greater motivation than winning.”

Dani Olmo was part of Barcelona from 2007 to 2014 before leaving for Dinamo Zagreb.
