Real Madrid have a history of acquiring players from United, with Cristiano Ronaldo being the most famous example.

According to the Spanish outlet Real Madrid Exclusivo via Daily Mail, Perez is interested in signing Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho, planning to employ the same strategy that was used to secure Cristiano Ronaldo’s signing.

The 19-year-old winger has become a key player for Erik ten Hag’s squad, contributing seven goals and four assists across 38 appearances this season.

According to the report, Real has been monitoring closely, and Perez is keen on meeting the player during the team’s trip to Manchester for the Champions League match against Man City next month.

Garnacho was on the field for the entire 120 minutes during United’s 4-3 victory over rivals Liverpool to secure a spot in the FA Cup semi-finals on Sunday, providing an assist for the winning goal in the final moments of extra time.

Garnacho transferred to United from Atletico Madrid in 2020 for £420,000 and debuted for the club two years afterwards. At just 19 years old, he has clocked up 74 appearances for United, contributing to over 20 goals.
