Real Madrid forward Rodrygo, scored a brace as the Los Blancos defeated Athletic Club 2-0.

It was a fine performance from Real Madrid, with Rodrygo running the show.

Rodrygo however revealed that the return of his country and club teammate Eder Militao, made him more than happy.

“Militao’s return makes me much happier than my goals because I knew that I was going to score again,” Rodrygo said after the game against Bilbao.

“It was a special day for Militao.”

After being out for seven months out with an ACL injury, Militao made a return late in the game against Athletic Club.

Coincidentally Militao picked up the injury while playing against Athletic Club back in August.

Eder Militao also revealed he was happy to be back to the team.

“I’m so happy, I can’t even explain it,” Eder Militao told Real Madrid TV.
