Kylian Mbappe had since informed PSG of his decision not to renew his expiring contract at the Parc des Princes.
The 25-year-old will leave PSG at the end of the season, but his future is yet to be officially announced.
It’s a known secret that Mbappe will move to Real Madrid at the end of the season.
Mbappe’s former teammate Ander Herrera, has revealed where he thinks Mbappe will end up.
During an interview with El Chiringuito TV, Herrera, who played alongside Kylian Mbappe for three seasons at PSG, has said that it was always ‘inevitable’ that one of the ‘best players in history’ would end up at ‘the best club in history’.
He said: “Kylian Mbappé to Real Madrid next season? Yes, of course. I think their paths would have crossed sooner or later.
“It’s inevitable that Kylian ends up at the best club in the history of football. I played at United, PSG… but you can’t deny the obvious.
“The best players in history have to be at the most successful club in history, Real Madrid.”
