Can Real Madrid progress after 3-3 draw with Manchester City?

Real Madrid

Real Madrid have put themselves in a tight place in the Champions League after playing a 3-3 draw with Manchester City at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Real were hoping they’d beat City at home, but it wasn’t the case.

Real Madrid had come from behind in the first-half to end the half in front, only to end to go behind 3-2 in the second-half before Federico Valverde’s goal made it 3-3.

Can Real Madrid make it happen at the Etihad Stadium?

The odds are against Carlo Ancelotti’s side. According to LaLigaEnNumeros, whenever City draw the first leg away, they win the 2nd leg at home.

In the last two seasons, City were held on the road by RB Leipzig (quarterfinal) and Real Madrid (semis), but they still advanced scoring seven and four un-replied goals respectively at home.

They have produced the same result on seven other occasions.

We can say that one thing with Real Madrid and the Champions League is … you can never say never.
