Toni Kroos has revealed how Carlo Ancelotti lied to the players to win games in the La Liga.

“He [Ancelotti] told us last week, before the game against Mallorca: ‘If we win, we’re done [in La Liga].’ It was difficult for us to win, and then he told us: ‘I lied to you. If we win next week [against Barcelona], it’s over.’” Toni Kroos told his brother for Einfach mal Luppen podcast.

“Finally, everything will end when we beat Real Sociedad on Friday.”

Real Madrid have an 11-point lead on second placed Barcelona.
