Barcelona had a difficult past week, after crashing out from the Champions League, and losing to Real Madrid, thus ending the club’s La Liga hopes.

Barcelona took the lead twice against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu, but ended up losing the game.

Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos has claimed that Real should have beaten Barcelona 4-0.

“The truth is that the level of play [in El Clasico] wasn’t good on both sides. We have to admit it. Both teams made a lot of mistakes and lost a lot of balls,” Toni Kroos told his brother in an Einfach mal Luppen podcast.

“In reality, if we had played El Clasico well, we could’ve beaten them [Barca] 4-0.”

Jude Bellingham scored a stoppage time goal to seal a 3-2 victory for Real Madrid.
