Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich has admitted he is open to the possibility of playing in Spain.

Kimmich has been linked with moves to Barcelona and Real Madrid, and the 29-year-old is keen on a move.

Ahead of this week’s Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid, Joshua Kimmich told AS: “This is a very interesting question for me, but it is not the most important thing right now. I know when you sign a contract you don’t sign with the coach. You sign with the club.

“For me, the most important thing is the club, not just the coach. But of course it is also important to know what the coach thinks of you and the team.

“I want to talk to Bayern. And when I do, I won’t go out and talk to the press about it. I am only focused on the two games against Real Madrid.

“At the moment I am not thinking about this. As I already said, I will talk to Bayern first. But of course Barcelona and Real Madrid are great clubs with a great history.”
