Real Madrid and Bayern Munich played out a 2-2 draw at the Allianz Arena on Tuesday night.

The Champions League clash between the two sides was a thrilling one in Munich. Vinicius Jr had opened the scoring, and Madrid went into the break leading 1-0.

Bayern Munich came out firing in the second-half, and two quick-fire goals saw the hosts in front. Vinicius Jr will calmly score from the spot late in the game to level the scores 2-2.

Vinicius Jr has warned Bayern Munich to expect magic when Real Madrid host the second leg at the Santiago Bernabeu.

“It is now time for a magical night at the Bernabeu,” Vinicius Jr told the media after the away draw against Bayern Munich.

“We wanted to win, but this competition is like this. You cannot give away balls because both teams have great quality and can take advantage of the opportunities they have.

“We have to rest, because we will do our best to qualify at the Bernabeu. It’s time to take Real Madrid to where they belong – to the Champions League final.”

Real Madrid host the second leg next Wednesday, on May 8, at the Santiago Bernabeu.
