Carlo Ancelotti has revealed a new tactical switch he has come up with that has helped Rodrygo and Vinicius Jr.
Instead of playing Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo as a pair up front, Ancelotti has decided to place Rodrygo on the left, while Vinicius operates in a more central position.
This tactical switch has paid off lately.
“The moment we put Rodrygo on the left, he scored against City and Vini scored against Bayern,” Carlo Ancelotti has told the media.
“This change really helped us adjust things… and on that side, things are going very well. The whole left wing has worked very well.”
Rodrygo has scored four goals in his last five appearances for Real Madrid; Vinicius Junior has three in his last three matches.
