Franco Mastantuono has expressed a preference for Real Madrid over other clubs and has instructed his representatives to negotiate a deal with the Spanish team, according to Revelo.

In recent months, multiple reports from Argentina, Spain, and journalist Fabrizio Romano have indicated that Real Madrid is interested in the young talent.

It seems that Mastantuono, who comes from the River Plate youth system, favors a move to Spain to join Los Blancos.

Real Madrid aims to adopt the strategy they’ve used successfully in the past with players like Vinicius, Rodrygo, Endrick, and Guler, planning to integrate him into the first team once he turns 18 in 2025.

MARCA has covered the player’s personal qualities and behavior outside of play. The publication noted that the young athlete displays a remarkable mentality, reminiscent of a young Fede Valverde’s dedication to soccer.

Mastantuono, who plays as a right winger or central attacking midfielder, is known for his adept left foot and has compared his playing style to Phil Foden’s.

Despite interest from Manchester City, Barcelona, and PSG, it appears Real Madrid is poised to secure his signature once more.

Mastantuono has a €45 million release clause in his contract, but Real Madrid is hoping to lower this amount.

His notable achievements, such as becoming the youngest goal scorer for River Plate, surpassing Lucas Ocampos, underscore his potential and Real Madrid’s keen interest in him.
