Real Madrid fans urged Luka Modric to extend his Real Madrid contract during the club’s La Liga title celebration on Sunday.

Modric will be out of contract at the end of the season.

Modric said: “Staying at Real? We will see what happens. I want to finish the season well, then we will see.”

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the future of Modric will be decided soon after meeting with club president Florentino Perez.

Modric added: “I want to thank the fans for the love they show me every day. I love them too. I don’t have the words to describe this feeling. It’s incredible.”
