
Brahim Diaz enjoyed a fine weekend, as he started in Real Madrid’s La Liga clash against Granada.
The Moroccan international scored a 2nd-half brace that took his tally for the season to an impressive 12 goals across all competitions.
In his post-match presser after the Granada game, Brahim Diaz who had a fine game, chose to rather praise his Real Madrid teammates.
He said that he no longer considers his Blancos teammates to be his ‘friends’ but rather ‘family’.
The 24-year-old singled out veteran midfielder Luka Modric for praise.
He said: “We are no longer friends, we are a family. They are my brothers and I wanted to thank Luka Modrić. He is a phenomenon.”
It’s yet to be seen whether Modric will be a Real Madrid player next season, as his contract will wind up at the end of the season.
