Former Newcastle United and Aston Villa manager Steve Bruce, has weighed in on who the better manager is between Pep Guardiola and Carlo Ancelotti.

Manchester City and Real Madrid will be seen as the best club sides over the past five years, under Guardiola and Ancelotti.

There have been a debate on who the better manager is.

Carlo Ancelotti has so far won four Champions League titles – two with AC Milan and two with Real Madrid.

As for Pep Guardiola, he has won three Champions League crowns – two with Barcelona and one with Manchester City.

Carlo Ancelotti’s Madrid only recently eliminated Pep Guardiola’s City in the Champions League semi-finals.

However, Ancelotti has won six league titles in his career in comparison to the Manchester City boss, who has won 11 in his career so far.

When quizzed by the Daily Mail via TikTok whether Pep Guardiola or Carlo Ancelotti is the better manager, Steve Bruce replied: “Oh, Pep [Guardiola].”

After all said and done, Carlo Ancelotti will dominate in Europe like no other, and has just won another La Liga title.
