Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has hinted that young midfielder Arda Guler might play in the upcoming Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund.
Ancelotti praised Guler’s recent performances and goal-scoring streak, suggesting he could be a valuable option for the match.
Arda Guler was frustrated at the start of the season, as he barely played games after returning from injury. But he has been featuring of late, and has impressed the manager.
His potential inclusion in the Champions League final comes as Real Madrid aim for a domestic and European double after winning the La Liga title.
“Arda [Guler] has shown in the last few games how good he is, how talented he is and that he can be useful during the game,” Ancelotti stated while speaking ahead of the Champions League final.
“He’ll play because he’s on a fantastic goalscoring streak, he has a 100% success rate and he’s an option for us.”
