The Ballon d’Or will be hugely contested this season, and there are quite a number of players who are in the contest.
Vinicius Jr has however backed teammate Jude Bellingham to win the award.
“I would give the Ballon d’Or to Bellingham,” Vinicius Jr. said during Real Madrid’s media day.
Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Jr are among the early favourites for the Ballon d’Or award.
If Bellingham wins the Champions League and Euros, it could go a long way for him.
Vinicius has revealed how he prepares for games, especially with a massive one against Dortmund this weekend – the Champions League final.
“I always watch the games of the centre-backs and the full-backs that I’m going to face. I ask my team to prepare it for me. I study it, to see how they can try to block me,” Vinicius Jr said.
“Now I also have to look at those of the goalkeepers, because I take penalties.”
