Kylian Mbappe was expected to sign for Real Madrid back in 2022, but he ended up staying at PSG.

Two years later, the 25-year-old is now expected to move to the Santiago Bernabeu.

In an interview with CNN Sport, Kylian Mbappe was asked if it was the right decision to sign the contract extension with PSG in 2022.

Mbappe has admitted the pressure was intense, which he doesn’t wish on anyone. He also admitted he enjoyed his time at the Parc des Princes nevertheless.

Mbappe said: “It was more than just staying at PSG. It was the World Cup in Qatar. It was many things around these things.

“It was a big decision, difficult one, but in your career, you have to make those.

“I don’t regret staying, though. In the end, I became PSG’s all-time top scorer. I just want to remember all the best things, you know… But of course, it wasn’t an easy situation, and I wouldn’t wish anyone to live through that.”
