Real Madrid defeated Manchester City in the quarter-final of the Champions League, and it was the toughest game of the season for the Los Blancos.

Speaking ahead of the Champions League final, during his photoshoot for GQ magazine, Real Madrid forward Rodrygo praised the quality of Manchester City, as he labelled them the team with the best football.

“To be honest, we knew they were better [in the quarter-final second leg]. For me they are the best team in the world,” Rodrygo said.

“Man City are the team that plays the best football. I think the most difficult rival has already left [the Champions League], but that doesn’t mean it’s going to be easy now to win the final.

“Against Bayern, it was very difficult and against Borussia Dortmund, it will be very difficult too.”
