Kylian Mbappe is currently seen as the best player in the world, following the end of an era for Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

However, former Barcelona president Joan Gaspert has said he rates Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal as high as Kylian Mbappe.

El Chiringuito TV asked Joan Gaspert: “I am Florentino Perez [Real Madrid president] and I tell you ‘President Gaspart, I will give you [Kylian] Mbappe and you give me Lamine Yamal.’ What would you say?”

Gaspart did not hesitate, as he replied; “No. Not me. A swap? Yamal is neither better nor worse, he is different.

“For some, he’s better and for others, he’s not,” Gaspart added.

Barca presidential candidate Toni Freixa added, “If you give me the choice between Yamal and Mbappe I’ll take Lamine because he’s mine.”
