UEFA have opened an investigation on Jude Bellingham, following his gesture after he scored in England’s 2-1 win over Slovakia.

Bellingham gestured towards his genitals while celebrating his goal, a gesture that seemed aimed at Slovakia fans.

Jude Bellingham took to X to clear the air after the game, claiming, “It was an inside joke gesture towards some close friends.”

According to The Times, Jude Bellingham will face scrutiny from UEFA.

According to the Mirror, Jude Bellingham is expected to escape any form of punishment.

However, England will still be punished for the behaviour of their fans during the game.

A UEFA statement reads: “Following the review of the officials reports for the England-Slovakia match, disciplinary proceedings have been opened against the English Football Association for the lighting of fireworks and crowd disturbances. The CEDB will take a decision on this case in due course. No further proceedings were opened from this match.”
