France were sent packing from Euro 2024, after suffering a 2-1 loss to Spain in the semi-final on Tuesday.

France managed to get to the semi-finals, but were poor for most of the tournament.

After the game, France boss Didier Deschamps admitted that Mbappe was one of the players who didn’t play well against Spain.

He stated: “I will not say my players didn’t give their all, but we didn’t play as well as we could for various reasons.

“Kylian didn’t perform as well as he usually does. I’m not making excuses. We tried to do our best with what we had and tried to be as efficient as possible.”

Mbappe had a nightmare Euros and only scored one goal in five appearances for the Les Bleus.

The Frenchman will now focus on enjoying a brief holiday before making his official arrival at Real Madrid.

Real Madrid have finally announced that Kylian Mbappe is going to be unveiled as a new player on July 16.
