Real Madrid star Dani Carvajal has revealed he has been urging Manchester City midfielder Rodri to join Real Madrid

Rodri and Carvajal has been key for Spain in the ongoing Euro 2024 tournament.

Rodri is currently viewed as one of the best holding midfielders in the game today.

Rodri is a key part of Pep Guardiola’s Man City team, and has been very key for the La Roja in the European Championship.

Speaking in an interview with Cope, as cited by transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, on Thursday, Carvajal revealed how he has been trying to lure Rodri to the Santiago Bernabeu.

He said: “I tell Rodri every day to sign for Real Madrid. I tell him every day to leave Manchester, that there is no sun there and to come to Madrid, that we need him. He tells me he has a contract… but he would be perfect for us.”
