After a fine season, Lunin is now seeking a move away from the club where he can play on a regular basis.

Thibaut Courtois is firmly established as Real Madrid’s first-choice goalkeeper, while Lunin has been playing back-up.

However, Lunin proved himself in the absence of Thibaut Courtois last season, as Real Madrid went on to win the La Liga and Champions League.

Lunin is now attracting interest from Chelsea, and he has made it clear that he wants to leave Real Madrid if he’s not going to be a starter next season.

However, Real Madrid are unwilling to guarantee him that role and are considering signing Kepa Arrizabalaga as a backup.

The club has set a price tag of €30 million on Lunin, signalling that they are okay with his departure.
