Real Madrid may have sold Alvaro Morata a long time ago, but the Los Blancos are still bagging cool money for Alvaro Morata 10 years after he left the club on a permanent transfer.

Real Madrid sold Morata to Juventus for €20m in 2014, but it wasn’t in 2017 that Real permanently lost all their rights to the player following a €60 million move to Chelsea from Atleti.

Real Madrid will now receive approximately €390,000 from Alvaro Morata’s recent transfer to AC Milan. This payment comes through FIFA’s solidarity mechanism, which rewards clubs for their role in developing young players.

Over the years, Real Madrid have earned a substantial sum from Morata’s transfers, totalling around €74.8 million since 2014.

Morata’s move to Milan, valued at €15 million, was confirmed recently, with the striker signing a contract that will keep him at the club until 2028.

This transfer follows his successful stint with the Spanish national team, where he captained Spain to victory in the European Championship.
