Real Madrid have been hit by another ACL injury, just after the first game in pre-season.

19-year-old Castilla rising star Cesar Palacios, suffered an ACL injury, few minutes after coming on against AC Milan.

The young midfielder suffered an ACL injury in the closing stages against Milan, and was only on the pitch for seven minutes when the injury occurred.

Carlo Ancelotti has admitted that the situation doesn’t look good.

“He suffered a knee problem and it doesn’t look good,” Carlo Ancelotti said after the game.

“We have to evaluate him tomorrow and it is a shame that a young man is injured in the first preseason game. I hope it’s nothing serious.”

Last season, Thibaut Courtois and Eder Militao suffered ACL injuries that kept them out for a long time.
