Real Madrid defeated Chelsea 2-1 in their final game of the pre-season tour of US.

This result came after Real Madrid lost their previous pre-season games 1-0 and 2-1, losing to AC Milan and Barcelona respectively.

Carlo Ancelotti dropped young duo Endrick and Arda Guler for the game against Chelsea.

According to the Real Madrid manager, he dropped Endrick and Arda Guler to protect them from getting injured.

Carlo Ancelotti said: “They have had difficulties recovering after the game against Barcelona.

“We preferred to avoid risks because we want everyone to reach the Super Cup final well. This morning they worked individually.”

Real Madrid will face Atalanta in the UEFA Super Cup final in about a week, and Ancelotti will have a full house for the start of the season, as Real Madrid didn’t suffer an injury to a senior player during their tour of the United States.
