Nico Paz is no longer a Real Madrid player and has officially signed for Italian Serie A side Como in a permanent transfer.

Nico Paz has taken to Instagram to say goodbye to Real Madrid fans.

“Hello Madridistas, The time has come to say goodbye to this great club after 8 years defending this shirt,” Nico writes in his letter.

“First I want to thank Real Madrid for having trusted me all this time, and for having made my dream of debuting and playing minutes with the first team come true, where I was able to score my first goal in the Champions League that I will remember for the rest of my life.

“I would also like to thank all my teammates, coaches, physical trainers, physiotherapists, doctors, kitmen and all the club’s workers, with whom I have shared beautiful moments during all these years, and who have helped me to become the person I am today.

“And finally, I would like to thank all the Madridistas for all the affection I have received during this time. A fan base that has also allowed this to be possible.

“I hope our paths cross again! See you soon Madridistas! Hala Madrid.”
