It has been a tough start to life for Kylian Mbappe at Real Madrid.

After a fine performance in the UEFA Super Cup where he bagged a goal, Mbappe has failed to score in three La Liga games for Real Madrid.

Despite his lack of goals, Carlo Ancelotti has backed his summer signing, and doesn’t think the 25-year-old has a problem with adapting at Real Madrid.

“In my opinion, Kylian [Mbappe] plays very well. He hasn’t scored goals, but he is dangerous. I think there is no adaptation problem… there isn’t one,” Carlo Ancelotti has told the media ahead of the weekend game against Real Betis.

“The defensive work has to be more collective, and obviously, the forwards are less involved in that.”
