Toni Kroos announced his retirement at the end of last season, as he decided to hang his football boots at age 34.

The veteran midfielder now has time on his hands to talk about football on podcasts, as he also has quality time to spend with his family.

In a recent episode of his podcast Einfach mal Luppen, Toni Kroos shared his prediction for this season’s La Liga title.

Toni Kroos backed Real Madrid to win the title again.

“Real Madrid will win the league, I have no doubt,” Toni Kroos claimed in his podcast.

“There will be a fight for second place. Atletico Madrid will beat Barcelona.”

It has however been a contrasting start to the season, as Barcelona have opened an early lead at the top after winning four straight games.
