Cristiano Ronaldo won five career Ballon d’Or awards, and four of the awards came as a Real Madrid player.

Cristiano Ronaldo has backed Madrid duo Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham to win the Ballon d’Or in the near future. Ronaldo however failed to mention Vinicius Jr.

Speaking to Rio Ferdinand on his Vibe with Five YouTube channel, Ronaldo said: “Kylian Mbappe can win Ballon d’Or for next few years, probably Haaland, Bellingham.”

Ferdinand pointed out Vinicius Jr, to which Ronaldo then stated: “Also Lamine Yamal.”

The 2024 Ballon d’Or award will be presented on 28 October. Vinicius is among the favourites to win the award after a fine season with Real Madrid, scoring 24 goals and providing 11 assists in all competitions.
